Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Pharmacy Manager to lead and grow our retail pharmacy operations in Philadelphia. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting clinical initiatives, and delivering high-quality patient care.
The Pharmacy Manager will collaborate closely with clinic providers and clinical staff, provide drug-related education, participate in patient care planning, and attend clinical meetings as a valued member of the healthcare team.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Closed weekends
- Closed most major federal holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily pharmacy operations and staff
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Provide medication counseling and patient education
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinic teams
- Support immunization and vaccination services
- Oversee inventory, safety, and quality standards
- Drive pharmacy growth and community engagement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Active Pharmacist License in the State of Pennsylvania (must be fully licensed at time of application)
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail pharmacy management experience
- Previous retail pharmacy experience required
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of pharmacy management experience
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Immunization Certification
- Vaccination administration experience
Screening Requirements
To be considered, candidates must confirm:
- 3–5 years of retail pharmacist management experience
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and active pharmacist license
