Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – London, UK

About the Role:

As a CNA you will be an integral part of our care team, providing direct patient care and support to our residents/patients. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort, dignity, and well-being of those in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents/patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Supporting residents/patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Serving meals and assisting with feeding as required.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents/patients.
• Communicating effectively with residents/patients, families, and the care team.
• Documenting care provided accurately and promptly.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Reporting any changes in resident/patient condition to the nursing staff.
• Providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centred care.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid CNA certification/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• Experience working as a CNA/Care Assistant in a healthcare setting is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, compassionate, and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Good physical stamina and mobility.
• A satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
